Steven Bonner, former SNP MP, attended the Kiswa exhibition held at Lanarkshire Central Mosque. Reflecting on the event, he described it as “very inspiring,” highlighting how it brought the Lanarkshire community together. He praised the strong sense of community cohesion and noted that it was “amazing to learn about the history of the Islamic faith.” He also remarked that having such rare Islamic artefacts on display was a unique and valuable experience.
