PMGS Kiswa Exhibition Weekend

PMGS Weekend Kiswa Exhibition – A Fantastic & Well-Received Event

On the weekend of 16th & 17th May 2026, the Kiswa Arts & Culture Gallery had the honour of hosting a special exhibition at PMGS. We welcomed families, students, and members of the wider community for a truly memorable and educational experience ahead of the Hajj season.

A Warm Welcome to All

The exhibition opened to the general public on Saturday from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm and continued on Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. We were thrilled to see a fantastic turnout across both days! Visitors had the opportunity to witness rare and historic Kiswah artefacts. They engaged in live curating sessions, asked questions, and learned more about the history, significance, and preservation of the sacred Kiswa of the Holy Kaaba.

Engaging with Our Community

Throughout the weekend, we experienced excellent engagement with families and attendees. Meaningful Q&A discussions took place, alongside educational presentations. We received valuable feedback from the public, which we deeply appreciate. The event created a welcoming environment for learning, reflection, and appreciation of Islamic heritage and history.

This exhibition also marked a successful return to PMGS. The response and reception exceeded our expectations once again! Alongside the educational benefits, the weekend opened doors for further networking opportunities. Various organisations and individuals expressed interest in future collaborations and exhibitions across different locations around the UK.

A Heartfelt Thank You

A huge and heartfelt thank you goes to Brother Rehan Patel, Brother Imtiaz Panchabhaiya, and the entire team at PMGS. Their support, hospitality, and efforts made this event possible. Hosting the exhibition just before the Hajj season made the experience even more special and meaningful for attendees.

Looking Ahead

Alhamdulillah, the event was extremely well received! We look forward to continuing this journey of preserving and sharing Islamic art, heritage, and history with communities nationwide.

The Importance of Preserving Islamic Heritage

Preserving our Islamic heritage is vital. It allows us to connect with our past and educate future generations. By showcasing sacred relics and artefacts, we foster a deeper understanding of our culture and traditions. This exhibition serves as a reminder of the beauty and significance of our heritage.

Future Exhibitions and Collaborations

As we move forward, we are excited about the potential for future exhibitions. Collaborating with various organisations will help us reach a wider audience. We aim to establish the continent’s first dedicated Islamic heritage museum. This museum will serve as a hub for education and appreciation of our invaluable artefacts.

Join Us on This Journey

We invite you to join us on this journey of discovery and learning! Stay connected with us for updates on upcoming events and exhibitions. Together, we can celebrate and preserve our rich Islamic heritage for generations to come.

In conclusion, the PMGS Weekend KiswahExhibition was a remarkable event that brought our community together. We are grateful for the support we received and look forward to many more successful exhibitions in the future. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us!
