Dr Abdul-Azim Ahmed, Deputy Director at the Centre for the Study of Islam at Cardiff University and Deputy Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Wales, played a key role in supporting the setup and promotion of the Kiswa Exhibition across Cardiff and Swansea.
He stated:
‘We are blessed to have such holy artefacts and authentic pieces of the Kaaba displayed here in South Wales. We would never have imagined seeing such sacred relics from a forgotten past so close to home. I hope the project is a success, and I will continue to support its future behind the scenes.’”
