A Powerful Day of Spirituality & Islamic Heritage

Yesterday, more than 1,000 people attended the Kiswa Exhibition at Jamia Masjid Bilal, creating an atmosphere filled with emotion, unity, and spiritual reflection. The KACG team and volunteers began setting up early in the morning, preparing the artefacts, arranging the Kiswah displays, and ensuring a smooth experience for the community, supported by generous refreshments throughout the day.

Qiraat & Tafsir That Touched Hearts

The day opened with a beautiful Qiraat by Hafiz Yusuf, which went viral online. He also delivered short Tafsir sessions explaining the Quranic ayats embroidered on the Kiswah of the Holy Ka‘bah — including Dua Ka‘bah, Samadhi and Kandhi inscriptions.

He highlighted their meanings, spiritual lessons, and how these ayats can help us become better Muslims, improve our character, and inspire others. Many said it was the first time they understood the inscriptions of the Kiswah in such depth.

A Moving Exhibition Experience

Visitors then began a guided walkthrough of the artefacts from the Ka‘bah and Madinah Sharifah. Elders were moved to tears, making intentions for Umrah, Hajj, Sadaqah-e-Jariyyah, and personal reform. The masjid was filled with Quran, Zikr, and Durood Sharif throughout the day.

Children loved the hands-on experience — especially holding the Holy Ka‘bah Key, taking photos, and learning about its Tafsir and history.

Community Impact

People left with a renewed understanding of Islamic history — not just from books, but through visually encountering the Kiswah. Many expressed that they now fully understood the vision of KACG: to promote Islamic art, culture, heritage, and spiritual education nationwide.
