Kiswa Arts & Culture Gallery at Masjid Al Falaah, Birmingham
The Kiswa Arts And Culture Gallery was honoured to bring its exhibition to Masjid Al Falaah, Birmingham, for a fantastic day celebrating Islamic heritage, art, and community
The day began with a special morning session for students, children, and the masjid’s in-house team, offering an educational experience exploring the history of the Holy Kaaba and the Kiswa. From 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the exhibition welcomed the general public and received an outstanding response from visitors of all faiths and backgrounds.
The exhibition was warmly received by respected Ulama, scholars, community leaders, and local residents. We were also delighted to receive a testimonial from Councillor Mumtaz Hussain, who praised the event for bringing communities together through culture and education.
The event also created valuable networking opportunities, with museums, arts organisations, and mosques across Birmingham expressing interest in hosting future Kiswa exhibitions.
A huge thank you to the volunteers and team at Masjid al-Fala, everyone who attended, and the dedicated Kiswa Arts And Culture Gallery team for making the day such a memorable success.
We look forward to bringing this unique exhibition to many more communities across the UK
