A truly historic and spiritually uplifting day as the Kiswat al-Kaaba Exhibition graced Dewsbury Town Hall – uniting heritage, faith, and community under one roof. 🕋✨

Organised with dedication and passion by Cllr Hanifa Darwan, Cllr Masood Ahmed, and Cllr Nosheen Dad, the event stood out as a shining example of collaboration and civic pride

🌟 A special mention and heartfelt appreciation to Cllr Yusra Hussain (Batley) for her tireless work behind the scenes – her commitment and leadership were instrumental in bringing this vision to life

🔐 Original Locks & Keys from the Two Holy Mosques
💫 Samaadi Qandeel lanterns
👑 Hizaam Belts from the Ottoman and Saudi eras
🎤 The day opened with a beautiful Adhan and Qur’an recitation, followed by a soulful duet by two Qaris, resonating deeply with all in the hall.
👥 Walkthrough experiences for:

🌈 This was not just a religious event – it was a multi-faith gathering, where individuals from diverse backgrounds and beliefs came together in unity, respect, and celebration of cultural and spiritual heritage
